The US is supplying Kyiv with roughly $3 billion in weaponry and equipment in the “largest batch of security support to date,” according to US President Joe Biden on Wednesday, six months after Russia invaded Ukraine.

The $2.98 billion in military aid “would allow Ukraine to buy air defense systems, artillery systems and ammunition, counter-unmanned aerial systems, and radars to ensure it can continue to defend itself in the long run,” Biden said in a White House statement.
