France, Britain, and Germany blasted Iran’s plan on Thursday to virtually remove all of the United Nations nuclear watchdog’s monitoring equipment established under a 2015 nuclear deal, saying it threw doubt on Tehran’s willingness to resurrect the agreement.

“These actions only aggravate the situation and complicate our efforts to restore full implementation of the JCPoA (nuclear deal),” the three nations said in a joint statement. “They also cast further doubt on Iran’s commitment to a successful outcome.”

In contrast to a joint statement issued with the US on Wednesday, Washington did not sign on to Thursday’s statement.
