The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power facility, which was shelled over the weekend, is now working “in normal mode,” the Russian-installed head of the local government said on Monday, according to Interfax.

“We have information from the military and Rosatom representatives who are here simply monitoring the situation. We have received confirmation from them that everything is running normally “said Yevgeniy Balitsky, chairman of the Zaporizhzhia region’s Russian-installed administration.

Balitsky stated that the facility, Europe’s largest nuclear power station, was under Russian control.

Kyiv and Moscow have accused one other for the weekend bombardment of the station.
